To obtain work that will allow me to continue utilizing my training and experience as a freelance illustrator / artist.

  • Full-time freelance artist for twelve years.
  • I work primarily in oils in a style that can range from fairly loose to tightly rendered realism.
  • Also proficient with pastel, pencil, charcoal, and watercolor.

1998 Listen Magazine and Signs of the Times

  • First published work while still ateending SUU.

2001 - current LDS Church Publications Salt Lake City, UT

  • Completed over 100 illustrations for Ensign, New Era, The Friend, and Liahona Magazines as well as other publications.
  • Work has also been used in sessions of LDS General Conference to illustrate talks presented by the First Presidency of the LDS Chuch.

2003 - current Participated in the annual Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show (St. George, UT) and the Shenandoah Invitational Art Show (Buena Vista, VA) where I've consistently recieved awards for my oil and pastel work, including the Shenandoah's People's Choice Award in 2005, and again in 2008. At these shows, I've enjoyed the priviledge of showing alongside the work of many artists whom I've admired for years including Greg Olsen, Del Parson, Walter Rane, Joseph Brickey, and Michael Malm.

2009 Juried into the Paint the Parks Mini50 and Mini 2nd50 International Art Competition

Other clients: Southern Virginia University, Adoption LLC, Farr's Ice Cream, Idaho School District 25, and numerous portrait clients from around the U.S.
